Hi, I'm Akash, a Software Designer & Tech Lead at Globant with 8+ years of turning caffeine into code and vague requirements into production disasters that somehow work. I specialise in Angular, ReactJS, NodeJS, Stencil.js and because apparently one JavaScript framework was never going to be enough for my commitment issues.

By day I architect scalable frontends and mentor engineers with great confidence. By night I argue with TypeScript about types it clearly should have inferred itself. I've shipped code across telecom, fintech, ed-tech, and healthcare, industries where bugs aren't just embarrassing, they're lawsuit-worthy. No pressure. I've had the privilege of working with clients like Avaya, Royal Caribbean, Deloitte, Marsh McLennan, Morpheus, WNS, RBL Bank, and more.

On the backend I speak fluent Node.js, Python, Flask, and REST APIs. I've also gone deep into Generative AI 🤖, building agentic workflows with OpenAI, LangChain, and Claude, because apparently I enjoy giving robots the tools to eventually question my architectural decisions.

I obsess over performance, accessibility ♿, and writing code so clean it makes other devs quietly reconsider their career choices. My toolbox includes RxJS, NgRx, Jest, CI/CD, SonarQube, and Git, mostly git blame, obviously.

On the open source side, I maintain AccessiAI, an AI-powered accessibility audit Chrome extension that catches WCAG violations so your users don't have to suffer while you pretend you planned for accessibility all along.
